IASB and ISSB Vice-Chairs reflect on joint meeting in special podcast episode

Connectivity between the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) is fundamental to their work. That is the key takeaway from the special joint podcast episode published today.

In the podcast, IASB Vice-Chair Linda Mezon-Hutter and ISSB Vice-Chair Sue Lloyd share their reflections of the inaugural joint IASB-ISSB technical meeting held on 25 January 2024 in London.

Last year the ISSB consulted on its priorities for the next two years. The IASB-ISSB discussion was on feedback to this consultation about a potential project on integration in reporting, and about feedback on how to deliver connectivity between the two boards.

Linda and Sue reflect on the discussions during the session, and on related topics such as the IASB’s Management Commentary project and the role of the Integrated Reporting Framework.
