Who are we?
The International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) is a global coalition of regulators, investors, companies, standard setters, the accounting profession and NGOs. The coalition is promoting communication about value creation as the next step in the evolution of corporate reporting.
Mission: The IIRC’s mission is to establish integrated reporting and thinking within mainstream business practice as the norm in the public and private sectors.
Vision: The IIRC’s vision is to align capital allocation and corporate behaviour to wider goals of financial stability and sustainable development through the cycle of integrated reporting and thinking.
How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you correspond with the IIRC, become a member of one of our governing bodies or networks, share your contact details with a member of the IIRC over e-mail, at a meeting or event, when you visit our website or if you register to receive our newsletters.
What information is being collected?
The personal information we collect includes your name, e-mail address, the organisation you work for and your role title.
We also use anonymized data to understand how visitors to our websites are using the sites.
How is information used?
We may use your information to:
- carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into
- comply with applicable laws
- seek your views or comments on the activities we undertake
- send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you. These may include information about our activities, networks, events , fundraising activities or other campaigns and promotions
- process a grant or job application
- help us improve engagement and user journeys on our websites.
The retention periods for personal information are monitored on a regular basis. We are legally obliged to hold some types of information and we will only keep your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us.
Who will information be shared with?
The IIRC will never sell your information to third parties without your consent.
We may share your information, from time to time, with trusted third-party service providers we work for the purposes of undertaking operational activities such as sending newsletters, or if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligations.

Applying for roles at the IIRC
Personal information supplied to the IIRC during a recruitment process will only be used for the purpose of recruitment, will be stored securely and will be destroyed within the appropriate timescales if an applicant is not successful.
Website recording
The IIRC uses google analytics to help improve engagement and user journeys for integratedreporting.ifrs.org and www.corporatereportingdialogue.com. We use anonymized data to understand how visitors to our website are using the site, including what content they are looking for, what countries they are visiting from, what language they use and what device they are using to view our website. All of this information enables us to ensure our website is supporting the adoption of integrated reporting internationally.
