Vice President for Finance and World Bank Group Controller

Pam O’Connell is an experienced financial professional and the Vice President of Finance and Controller for the two largest World Bank Group entities. She has over thirty years of experience in statutory and management reporting, and accounting operations serving in roles in audit with Price Waterhouse, as well as in the private sector and with other multilateral development organisations.

Mrs. O’Connell was the World Bank’s representative on the IFRS Foundation’s Advisory Council (2014-2020) and is currently fulfilling a second term as an elected Executive Director of the Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union. She is a Certified Public Accountant, CPA; Certified Management Accountant, CMA; Certified Financial Services Auditor, CFSA; Certified Global Management Accountant CGMA; and Certified Operational Risk Manager (ORM).
