Cora Olsen

Sustainable business expert, independent advisor, Denmark

Cora Olsen is an independent sustainability advisor. In her previous role at Novo Nordisk, she was responsible for the environmental, social and governance (ESG) data reported in the integrated annual report at Novo Nordisk. She drove the continuous development of the pre-financial reporting in the integrated annual report to ensure accountability of performance towards becoming a sustainable business. In addition, she was also responsible for setting up and embedding internal control processes that are aligned with financial reporting to ensure a high level of data quality. She was also responsible for the assurance process related to ESG information. In addition, she was involved in the IIRC’s Business Network on integrated reporting and the Future-Fit Development Council.

Cora is a member of SASB’s Sector Advisory Group for Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals and sits on the Advisory Board at the Centre for Corporate Reporting (CCR) based in Switzerland. Before joining Novo Nordisk in 2008, Cora worked for Ernst & Young as a consultant within the area of sustainability.
